Medical waste washes up on New Jersey beaches

"State officials are trying to trace the source of medical waste that washed ashore along an eight-mile stretch of southern New Jersey beaches.
The debris was found from Barnegat Light to Surf City on Sunday.
Hilferty said the debris included syringes, wood, plastic, bottle caps, cell phone cases, ribbons and balloons."
