The world-famous ocean mammal is believed to be as far north as the Fraser Coast, according to the department of environment and resource management, if his high-speed travel of 18kmh has continued.
The reclusive, 14-metre Migaloo, who did not make an appearance off Australia's east coast last year, was last reported 22km out from Burleigh Heads on Wednesday afternoon."
